22-year-old actor Saint Von Colucci has sadly passed away after undergoing a series of twelve cosmetic surgeries within a year to emulate the appearance of BTS singer Jimin.

His publicist, Eric Blake, informed DailyMail.com on Monday, April 24 that Von Colucci succumbed to complications from his latest surgery at a South Korea hospital on Sunday, April 23.

The Canadian-born Von Colucci, who relocated to South Korea in 2019 to pursue an entertainment career, underwent a procedure on Saturday, April 22 to remove jaw implants he had obtained in November. Following the surgery, an infection developed, requiring him to be intubated. Sadly, he passed away shortly after.

Blake conveyed the actor’s dissatisfaction with his facial features, leading him to spend $220,000 on surgeries including a facelift, nose job, eye lift, eyebrow lift, and lip reduction over the past year.

Von Colucci’s original attributes comprised dark blond hair, blue eyes, a height of 6 feet, and a weight of 182 pounds. Blake revealed that his struggle to secure acting roles in South Korea due to his Western appearance drove him to pursue the surgeries.

Describing his experience, Blake stated, “It was very hard for him to get a job in South Korea, and he felt very discriminated against [because of] his Western looks.”

According to Blake, Von Colucci starred in an eight-episode Korean drama series titled “Pretty Lies” (also known as “Cogimar”) as Jimin, the 27-year-old member of the Grammy-nominated K-pop group BTS. The series, filmed from June to December 2022, is scheduled to premiere on a major streaming service in the United States in October.

“He was very, very excited and worked really hard,” Blake added.
