Bauer has spent over two years at the center of a sexual assault case that has severely damaged his reputation.
The former Cleveland Indians pitcher joined Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball earlier this year after failing to land a deal in the MLB.

Luba has represented Bauer since 2019 and even testified in his favor during his sexual assault case.
She has also shared plenty of photos of the two of them together over the years.
The 28-year-old Luba is a law student and a former UCLA gymnast. Luba worked for the MLBPA as a paid arbitration lawyer after taking the bar. She is presently the game's youngest female agent and also the first to represent a Cy Young Award winner.
Trevor Bauer restarts career after sexual assault allegations
Trevor Bauer was accused of sexual abuse by a woman in 2021. Although Bauer maintained that the interaction was consensual, the former Cy Young Award winner was placed on administrative leave in 2021 and was not permitted to participate in games.
In 2022, MLB suspended Bauer for 324 games following an investigation, which was later reduced to 194 on appeal. He was reinstated as a result.
Bauer was released by the Dodgers in January 2023 and signed a one-year, $4 million contract with Yokohama two months later.
