Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma had an interesting way of celebrating Valentine’s Day, as he made a post referencing his wife’s ex-partners that was hilarious albeit slightly cringe.
The 36-year-old DJ shared a series of images portraying his 36-year-old wife, who is currently expecting their third child, being rescued by her former partners while swimming. Expressing gratitude for their “bravery,” he uploaded a carousel of photos capturing Hilary on the beach and in the ocean alongside different men from her previous relationships.

Hilary’s Husband Made A Valentine’s Post Featuring Her Exes
Koma captioned the Instagram post, “This Valentine's Day I'd like to thank all the brave men who've saved my wife from dangerous oceans over the years. You don’t go unnoticed and your fearlessness is celebrated in our home everyday.”
However, Hilary didn’t seem impressed by her husband’s tongue-in-cheek post, responding in the comments, “You are truly ill. Matthew.” He had a quick reply for his wife, adding, “I'm so glad you're still here with us #survived,” adding an orange heart emoji.
Koma started the series of images with a picture of himself and Hilary, taken during a 2017 trip to Costa Rica, where he could be seen holding her romantically while they frolicked in the ocean.
Subsequent to that, another snapshot featured her strolling alongside celebrity fitness trainer Jason Walsh, the founder of Rise Nation, with whom Hilary had a five-month relationship in 2016.
Additionally, two photographs captured her on the beach with ex-partner Ely Sandvik, whom she dated during the summer of 2017 while she and Koma were taking a break from their romance.
Furthermore, Koma included a still from Duff's music video for "Chasing the Sun," wherein a model shared a close moment with her on the beach. Another image depicted a scene from her movie Greta, showcasing her being rescued in the water.
Matthew’s Post Didn’t Acknowledge Hilary’s Ex-Husband
However, one person from Hilary’s past who was conspicuously absent was her former husband, Mike Comrie, 43. Duff and the hockey player were married from 2010 to 2016 and are parents to their son Luca Cruz, aged 11.
Matthew and Hilary first met in 2015 while collaborating on Duff's album Breathe In. Breathe Out. They began dating in early 2017 and got engaged in May 2019.

Lizzie McGuire made a set salary for 'Lizzie McGuire,' but she and the rest of the cast seem to have been wildly underpaid.
Their daughter, Banks, was born in October 2018, while they welcomed a second daughter in 2021. The couple are currently a few months away from welcoming baby no. 3 (which will be the fourth child for Duff).
Koma, a singer-songwriter and record producer, is known for his work in the music industry, having collaborated with prominent artists such as Zedd and Carly Rae Jepsen. Conversely, rising to fame as the titular character in the Disney Channel series "Lizzie McGuire," Duff has established herself as a prominent figure in both the entertainment and music industries. But beyond their career accomplishments, fans continue to be mesmerized by Hilary and Matthew’s strong (and hilarious) marriage.
