Keempee de Leon began his entertainment career in 1988 with the Viva Films movie “I Love You 3x a Day,” co-starring with Gelli de Belen and Jimmy Santos, who would later become his co-host on Eat Bulaga!

He quickly became a regular presence on TV with appearances on Eat Bulaga!, That’s Entertainment, and Agila. In April 1989, he inked his first recording deal with OctoArts International (now PolyEast Records).

In March 2016, after 14 years of hosting, he left Eat Bulaga!, but continued working with GMA Network until 2018, featuring in various soap operas. Notable projects include “Little Nanay,” where he collaborated with the legendary Nora Aunor, and “Meant to Be,” reuniting with former That’s Entertainment cast members like Manilyn Reynes and Janno Gibbs.

In 2018, he returned to ABS-CBN, joining the drama “Nang Ngumiti ang Langit” in 2019, and in 2020, he became part of the cast for the drama series “Bagong Umaga,” alongside former PBB housemates Heaven Peralejo and Barbie Imperial.
