However, West is reportedly planning to open a prep school in California. It is going to rival Bronny James’ Sierra Canyon School.

Last year,  Ye had finally released his 10th studio album titled DONDA, named after his late mother Donda West.

His mother’s name will be given to the school he is about to create. According to reports, the rapper has purchased a 4-acre parcel on Tierra Rejada Road for the purpose. Also, the school will open at the site where a former private school once stood.

According to The People, the school will provide students with a world-class education.

The school’s website has also stated about their rigorous core curriculum, sustainability, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving methods.

Furthermore, the school under West’s leadership has planned to build a basketball program to rival the local powerhouse Sierra Canyon.

As of 2022, West’s net worth is 6.6 billion USD. He is among the richest rappers in the world.

Kanye West has graduated from Polaris High School. He had also won a scholarship to study at Chicago’s American Academy of Art.
